Au milieu des danses « afro » et dégustations de foutou, au loin, je crois bien entendre Jump Jim Crow. À travers ce temps de résidence, je souhaite explorer la pratique de l’archivage à l’ère digitale. Car souvent humoristiques, les mèmes et publications sur les réseaux sociaux ont automatiquement été relégués au statut d’objets apolitiques. Pourtant ces contenus participent à la circulation d’archétypes sur le continent africain et de représentations racialisées faisant écho à des imaginaires bien plus anciens. Je me propose de partager le processus de création d’une archive digitale de contenu au format vertical par la collecte, l’analyse et l’assemblage. Cette cartographie du web viendra nourrir ma pratique de la vidéo et de l’installation ainsi que de l’écriture. Assya Agbere est diplômée de la HEAR Mulhouse en 2025. Elle est Née en 2002 à Metz (France) Assya Agbere travaille principalement avec le médium de la vidéo. Son travail explore les croisements entre identité numérique, colonialisme et virtualité. À travers une approche expérimentale et poétique, elle interroge les structures de pouvoir inscrites dans les espaces numériques et filmiques. Elle développe des récits visuels mêlant archives, fictions spéculatives et esthétiques du cyberespace. Sa pratique vise à décoloniser les imaginaires en ligne, tout en ouvrant des espaces de narration sensibles, critiques et collaboratifs.
